Palmer loves spring almost as much as I do. We were looking for the eagle, driving slowly with the windows down. He was enjoying the fresh air with his eyes closed. I think this is what pure joy looks like:-)

We went to see the eagle again. He was showing off big time and it was such a beautiful day!!!

Hopefully, this was the last snow. It was very pretty and got me a two hour delay on a day that was truly a blessing. However, I'm ready to say goodbye to winter...

Week 15. Apparently, the baby's legs are longer than it's arms and it has functioning joints. It's very weird to me that I have something the size of an orange in me, wiggling like crazy, and I can't feel it...

We went to see the eagle yesterday and thought we missed him, but Bill found him in a tree. There were some black birds messing with him (not the smartest thing I've ever seen) and he ended up putting on a good show for us. He flew right over the car at the end (it was raining, so we didn't get out...)!

week 14. Having weird dreams, pants are starting to not zip up. Even the hair tie trick isn't working!!!

On Sunday nights we got horrible storms. We just had puddles here and there but the inlaws (who's vaca house is less than a mile away) had a moat around their house. This was the road leading to their house... the inside was dry though, thank goodness!

Tex is 13 weeks. I've had horrible headaches that have been making me feel sick to my stomach now and then. This week, the baby is growing teeth and getting vocal cords. It's head is also getting a bit more proportionate, but let's face it, it's part Werner, so the kid's head is going to be freakishly big for a while... feel sorry for me.

Week 12. Almost out of first trimester!

We had our second OB appt today and it was so neat! Dr. Hart asked what we thought the baby looked like last time. I said a bean. Then he showed us the baby just a few weeks later. wow. We could see the brain, hands, legs, bones... it was insane! AND he/she was moving around like crazy. It's so weird that there's all that movement and I can't feel a thing. Oh- second best part was that I only gained half a pound since last visit! Yeay me!

Dad sent me some pictures he took of when we went to feed the birds a couple weekends ago. Aren't they so cute???

On an unrelated note, baby Bentz, (who has been nicknamed Tex- long, had to be there story) is the size of a lime. According to Thebump.com, Tex is starting to get fingernails and hair follicles (hopefully, Bill's hair follicles). I'm feeling okay- still exhausted and car sick, but love it :-) The foods I (usually) love right now include dill pickles, green olives, tomatoes, green peppers, dilly bars, saltines, and dove chocolate. yum. That's not all I eat, don't worry- I'm making a good effort at eating healthy, but baby is a bad influence sometimes.

As of last Friday, I'm in week 10! It's a prune. Weird comparison.
