Sharon, Lindsey, Bill and I are signing up for the Rescue Run as a team... We need a creative team name- it's a 5k to raise money for pet rescue shelters... any ideas?

Sharon and I ran the Hoover Hustle 5k this morning! My goal was to run it in under 30, but my headphones were on and didn't know they'd be yelling our times to us at the end- so I'm not sure what they had as my time, but Bill clocked me at just under 30, so I'm happy! We went out for sushi after and got to see Kristin's nursery while we were down there- so cute! It was just what I needed!

We (Annika, Sharon, Me, Nicole, Mariah, and Lindsay) ran in the Jack Roth 5k on May 31st. I'm getting closer to my goal time :-)

Rescue Run!
There were tons of dogs and runners there. It was such a fun day and Linds and I did pretty well running! I was practically dragging Palmer by the end and we ended up walking the last half mile or so, but it was a good start!

I have decided that I desperately need to start running again, so Linds and I signed up for a 5k on May 23rd (www.rescuerun.com). My goal is to run it in under 30 minutes, but so far, I've been running a 12 minute mile (I've always been a slow runner, but the extra pounds certainly don't help!). It's 2 weeks from tomorrow, so we'll see!!! Wish me luck and ask me about it if I don't post anything (keep me honest :-)
