We had a great time in Vegas! It was 110 degrees everyday and it didn't get a whole lot cooler at night, so we didn't spend much time outside.

Lightning storm from the plane- super bumpy ride!!!

Breakfast buffet at TI

MMMMmmmm. Cheesy omlet!

"The Sirens of TI" show

Yummy frozen drinks

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Waiting for "the Deuce"

After we saw "The Lion King" (which was wonderful and one of my very favorite parts of the trip), we walked around the Luxor and Mandalay Bay.

We went to M&M world... It looks like I'm hitting Cheryl in the head, but the Green M did... I swear!!!!

Less painful picture.

"Fun Bill" after a few too many...

We had a great time, but it's good to be home. On the way home, we were supposed to have one short stop in Phoenix. Well, our flight from Vegas was having mechanical problems, so it left an hour and a half late. We were assured (in Vegas) that there was another flight from Phoenix to Columbus an hour later. When we got there, however, the gate agent said there was no such flight. So we ended up getting back on the same plane (sold out and not being able to sit together- both in middle seats), going to Charlotte, sprinting through the airport about half a mile to a plane to Columbus. It was an eventful trip home!

We finally got an offer on our house! We accepted it and put in an offer on a house in Apple Valley (and that was accepted too). We'll be about half way in between mine and bill's job. It'll still be a little bit of a drive for both of us, but do-able! We still have a lot to go through like inspections and what not. We're supposed to close on both houses on Aug. 31st. They want us to be out on Sept. 5th, so we asked the sellers to be out by Sept 3rd. Hopefully, this all works out well. This is a pic of the new house... pictures don't do it justice. It's so cute!

More exciting news: I got my first red tomato today!!!!

cute pic of palmer...

My garden is doing really well! So far I've gotten lettuce, zucchini, chives, and hot peppers from it. Can't wait for tomatoes!

Here's the pic of the patio set (for Jeanne :-). This is where I spend my summer mornings with a big cup of coffee!

There's a cute, little farmer's market in Sunbury every Saturday morning that I love to go to! I got these sunflowers super cheap and love seeing what crops and crafts are there every week.

Palmer's ear was stuck :-)

We had Noah, Charlie, and Annika over to spend the night. We went to two different playgrounds, took walks, played wii, watched a movie, and had a lot of fun! The dogs loved the extra company too!

We ate pancakes for breakfast (in the shape of the first letter of all of our names, of course:-)

At the playground in Mount Vernon.

I'm not sure how I have time to work during the school year...

I've been helping Bill with a golf camp for kids him and Brian organized. They had 24 kids sign up! He told me that my job was to make sure that no one got hit with a golf club, and so far, so good (knock on wood). The kids are wonderful- patient, enthusiastic, polite... and all can golf better than I can (not hard to do though).
After camp on Tuesday, Bill took me out on the course (I'd been to the driving range once recently). We played 5 holes and I actually really enjoyed it. Bill says I'm doing well and is a very good teacher. He's working a ton of hours, so it's been fun spending extra time with him.
Anyway, we decided to take a trip to Vegas at the end of July! We had free flight vouchers and Treasure Island sent us each 2 free nights... can't beat that! So I've been looking for a good show to go to or some different things to do while we're there. Very excited!
The house selling isn't going so well, but I'm trying to be patient. I know everything happens for a reason and in its own time, but I'm really getting anxious about having to drive all that way again. I guess we'll see...

Karen and Mike got married on July 4th. Bill was in the wedding, so it was a very busy weekend! Kristin (the sister in law) also went to the wedding and she was my date. It was a very pretty out door wedding (it rained a little during the ceremony, but it wasn't too bad). I slacked a little and didn't get any good pics of the bride and groom (go figure). I think everyone had a good time :-)
